Using Age Calculator
I built this after a form asked for my age in a format no human thinks in, and I realized I had never actually known my age down to the day. Enter a birthdate and you get the exact years-months-days breakdown, the totals for paperwork, and a countdown to the next birthday — all computed right here.
How to use it
- 1
Enter the birthdate
Pick the date from the calendar picker or type it in. The field won't accept a date in the future, and impossible dates like February 30 are rejected.
- 2
Set “as of” if you need it
Leave it on today for a current age, or set any other date to find the exact age on that day — useful for applications, records, and eligibility cutoffs.
- 3
Calculate
Hit the button for the full breakdown: exact age, total months, weeks, days, and hours, plus how many days until the next birthday, including the weekday.
Why use this privately?
A birthdate is one of the most abused pieces of personal data — it's a favorite ingredient in identity theft and account takeovers because so many security questions lean on it. Plenty of age-calculator sites log every date they're given alongside your IP address, quietly building a database of birthdays. This one computes everything in your browser with plain calendar math and never sends the date anywhere. There is no account, no log, and nothing for a breach to expose, which matters precisely because a birthdate can't be changed the way a password can.
Who is this for?
Handy for parents filling out school forms, HR paperwork, students checking eligibility cutoffs, and anyone curious about the exact numbers.
