Using Markdown to HTML Converter
I write most of my drafts in Markdown because it's fast, but blogs and CMS platforms want HTML. This tool gives me a live preview as I type and a single button to copy clean, sanitized HTML. Everything runs locally, so half-finished drafts never touch a server.
How to use it
- 1
Type or paste your Markdown
Write in the left pane — headings, bold, links, lists, code blocks, and quotes all render live. The placeholder text shows a quick syntax cheat-sheet if you need a reminder.
- 2
Check the live preview
The right pane renders your HTML instantly, exactly as a browser will show it. What you see is what you'll get when you paste it into your blog or docs.
- 3
Copy the clean HTML
Hit Copy HTML to grab the sanitized output. Scripts and unsafe markup are stripped automatically, so it's safe to paste into WordPress, Ghost, or any CMS.
Why use this privately?
Plenty of Markdown tools paste your text into a remote editor or run it through a server-side converter, which means your unpublished draft — release notes, a client proposal, internal docs — ends up on infrastructure you don't control. That never sat right with me. Here the Markdown is parsed with a local library and the HTML is sanitized in your tab before you ever see it. Sanitization matters too: raw converted HTML can carry script tags or sneaky attributes if the source Markdown is untrusted. You get output that's both private and safe to publish, with zero setup.
Who is this for?
Made for developers, technical writers, and bloggers who draft in Markdown and need publish-ready HTML without an account or an upload.
